FDC Instructors Institutes

Instructors Institute -- FDC

If you are interested in applying to become a Instructor for a local FDC class, please use the "application" tab to submit your request. You will be asked to upload a resume, so please have that ready in a word document before you begin the application process. We will contact the Affiliate Agency in your community to secure support for your application. If you do not know who the Affiliate is, please contact Myka Diller, Training Coordinator, myka@thecaap.org

Instructor Duties

Individuals interested in becoming a Certified FDC Instructor can review the roles and responsibilities associated with being an Instructor. Participants who attend the Instructors Institute are asked to complete the commitment documents after they return to their own communities and begin to work on establishing a local class. There are additional documents related to policies and procedures under the Resource Tab.

Portfolio Advisor Training

Training for Portfolio Advisors will be scheduled in communities as the need arises. Dates are scheduled with local affiliates who are offering the FDC classes and a designated representative of the CAAP.
